Fourth annual art exhibition opens at government model sanskriti senior secondary school, Thana
The fourth annual art exhibi-tion was held today in the art gallery of Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Thana. Aman Kumar (District Municipal Commis-sioner) was the chief guest, and Subhash Chandra Sharma (Principal, Government College, Bherian, Pehwa, Ku-rukshetra) was the special guest. Approximately 85 art-works by over 70 students were displayed in this art exhibition. The artists who won first, second, and third place in the exhibition were hon-ored with prizes. District Mu-nicipal Commissioner Offi-cers Aman Kumar and Sub-hash Chandra Sharma inau-gurated the annual art exhibi-tion by lighting the lamp and touring the exhibition. The exhibition will be open to vis-itors from November 18th to 22nd, daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pmpm. The District Munici-pal Commissioner explained that “art” is an infinite ex-pression of creativity. On this occasion, he interacted with the student artists and en-couraged them. The exhibi-tion features works by stu-dents from various classes in traditional, drawing, thread, still life, abstract art, acrylic, and oil mediums. Clay sculp-tures are also included.The students’ creative ex-pressions and artworks using various mediums captivated the audience. On this occa-sion, the school’s Fine Arts lecturer, Sohan Lal, displayed his paintings and photogra-phy, inspiring the students. Principal Om Prakash thanked the chief guests for their presence on the school campus and blessed them, wishing them a bright future. Senior Principal Ramraj Kau-shik of Pehowa Block, Princi-pal Om Prakash, Principal Medhavrat, Dr. Ravindra, Dr. Geeta, SMC President Amrik Singh, Vice Principal Vikramjit Singh, and the en-tire staff, along with other dignitaries, were present to view the exhibition.
